Frozen Smoothie Recipe (Dairy free & Sugar free)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup frozen fruit of choice (ex: strawberries & bananas)

  • 4 oz frozen Almond milk, coconut milk or non-dairy yogurt 

  • 4-6 oz liquid Almond or coconut milk

  • Stevia, xylitol, monk fruit or agave sweetener to taste

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla

  • 2 tsp Vanilla whey protein or other protein powder

  • ·Optional: 1 tsp nut butter, handful of spinach, or greens powder

 

Directions:

Keep frozen berries, peaches and/or bananas on hand.

Put a small container of almond milk or coconut milk in the freezer for at least 3 hours or more (I just keep one in the freezer and refill it each time so it's ready anytime I want a snack)

Add ingredients to a blender with enough milk to blend and blend until smooth. This is a thick and creamy treat, like soft serve ice cream! Enjoy.
